It all started July 7, 1952 when 12 people decided to start a motorcycle club. The original chosen name for the club was “Phantom Riders of Devil’s Pulpit”. On August 11, 1952, the club received their charter #842 from the American Motorcycle Association.
Due to negative feedback about the chosen name from the AMA, in January 1954 the name was changed to “Zinc City Motorcycle Club” and incorporated in June 1957. Early in 1958 the club purchased the land now know has Zinc City. The club expanded on this purchase in 1997 with 20 acres on the adjacent lot that now host our grove and fields for events and riding.
Today Zinc City Motorcycle Club is still thriving. We host various public events every year supported by our members and also raise money for local charities. We attend numerous other types of support rides and fundraisers for the community. In addition we also have private club events like rides, camp outs and parties.
